Biotext seeks to create an environmentally and socially responsible business culture by:

• using environmentally friendly production and office processes (reduce, reuse and recycle)
• providing environmentally responsible options to our clients (eg printing on recycled paper)
• considering ethical aspects when choosing our work

• identifying projects that would enable us to engage in community outreach (local and international)
• promoting these values (through our website, quotes and professional organisations).

Community and social activities

Biotext supports the community and those in need in a number of ways. Biotext participates in Australia’s ‘Biggest morning tea’ event, where staff and invited visitors were encouraged to make a donation to the Cancer Council in return for partaking in morning tea provided by staff members.

Biotext is a proud supporter of JACKmail, a Canberra mail pickup and delivery business.

Individual staff members are also involved in a number of community groups and efforts. For example, Janet Salisbury participates in ‘Canberra Conversations’, a series of citizen conversations on topics of importance for our future.
