Our 1-day ‘Successful science writing and editing’ course has helped many writers and editors to improve their work.

This expertise is now available at a distance. Recently, our writing trainer worked with one of our clients online to deliver 1-on-1 coaching in how to write and edit scientific and technical material.

This course and training has been very beneficial and greatly improved the quality of my writing and helped me regain some of my confidence. The course has been good as we were able to target some of the more specific problems I was having rather than a one-size-fits-all process. I think the writing guide is a good reference to have.

Overall the best thing about the course was the ability to look at my writing for the level I need to write. I have been to writing courses previously where we had to write a letter for a layperson, which for me was easy enough and did not address the particular issues I had. This course/process is much more beneficial, and my learning and improvement were much quicker.

The course was at a good pace that suited my needs, and it’s possibly better to not rush through the content so the writing techniques could be practiced. The course has been very useful, and the one-on-one tuition has been extremely helpful.
