A new framework to improve our health system

Australian Health Research Alliance

Services: Content strategy, Graphic design and layout, Writing and editing

Sector: Health and biomedical science, Research and development

The formation of the Australian Health Research Alliance (AHRA) in 2017 linked some of the key organisations in Australian healthcare. AHRA, in collaboration with the healthcare sector and government agencies, has now developed a framework for research and action to address two of the largest challenges facing Australian health care: health systems improvement and sustainability.

Biotext worked with AHRA to develop the National Framework for Health Systems Improvement and Sustainability, attending workshops and meetings with stakeholders, and drawing on research completed by AHRA partners to draft and finalise the framework.

The framework is built around the key drivers, building blocks, models and methods that AHRA partners identified would be needed to deliver improved and sustainable health systems for Australia. It is hoped that the framework will guide future work and make a real difference to Australian health care both now and into the future.
