The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care developed Antimicrobial stewardship in Australian hospitals in 2011 to help healthcare organisations to deliver the best possible antimicrobial care.

When the resource needed an update, Biotext partnered with the Commission to renew this valuable guide with the latest evidence and best practice. Our health writers and editors drew on significant subject matter expertise to manage a large volume of content and shape a clear, engaging information structure. We copyedited, proofread and designed the 316-page publication, carefully reflecting the Commission’s brand guidelines. We also rewrote content where needed, to ensure a consistent voice throughout the resource.

The new publication, Antimicrobial stewardship in Australian health care, was launched at the Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases conference in May 2018.
