Antimicrobial resistance is an urgent issue for human health around the world. The Commission produced this landmark report, which – for the first time in Australia – coordinates data from a range of programs to provide a national view of the state of antimicrobial use and resistance. Biotext was involved from the start of the project, providing advice on the report’s overall structure and content, comprehensively editing the text, and designing the report. Our integrated approach allowed our editors, designers and data visualisation specialists to collaborate with the Commission to ensure maximum clarity and readability for both the text and the data displays. We also wrote a summary of the main report, and produced accessible versions for web publication.
