The Australian immunisation handbook provides clinical advice to health professionals on the safest and most effective use of vaccines in their practice.

Our experts rewrote the Handbook for digital delivery, working closely with user experience specialists and subject matter experts to create an intuitive and interactive online experience.

We provided content analysis, information architecture, content creation, editing and proofreading; advised on prototypes; and validated the content in the staging site. We also developed a series of infographics to give health professionals a quick visual guide to complex topics. We transformed the content from dense academic-style text to a plain-language format that meets best practice for web writing. We used the software Hemingway and Visible Thread to ensure that the content met US Grade 10 reading level or below, as well as meeting accessibility and other requirements under Australian Government digital standards.
