The World Health Organization (WHO) implemented the Joint External Evaluation (JEE) Tool as a way to evaluate countries’ compliance with the International Health Regulations (2005). The Australian Government Department of Health partnered with Biotext to structure a self-assessment report about its health security arrangements, addressing 19 core indicators outlined in the JEE Tool.
Biotext wrote and edited the 250-page self-assessment report, condensing diverse information about Australia’s health security and biosecurity into a logical and engaging structure. The self-assessment report was read by an international evaluation team, and needed to be clear, thorough and – above all – easy to read. Biotext also formatted and finalised the report for submission to WHO.
