Biotext was asked to redesign a datasheet summarising key statistics about the state of Australian science and maths teaching, and student performance from the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) 2011 and the OECD’s Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2012.

The Biotext editing and design team analysed the selected data, clarified the key messages, and designed new visuals to bring clarity and additional depth and meaning to the data, creating an engaging 2-page presentation.

The Chief Scientist, Dr Alan Finkel, launched the datasheet at CONASTA 65, the annual conference of the Australian Science Teachers Association, in Brisbane on 4 July 2016.
