Skills: Carrie is a science publications specialist, with a technical background and writing and editing qualifications. She is highly experienced in managing large, ongoing projects.

Qualifications: Carrie has a bachelor’s degree in science, majoring in genetics, and worked for 10 years in genetics, cancer and diabetes research in Canada and Australia.

In 2012, Carrie completed a Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing. She is an accredited editor for the United Nations Population Fund and UNAIDS, and is a member of the Australian Science Communicators (ASC). Through her work at Biotext, Carrie has developed an interest in literature reviews and evidence-based medicine, and has completed an ‘Introduction to clinical research and evidence-based practice’ through Monash University.
